Day 39 - 40 Days of Blogging

Well in case you didn't know...we are on a boat, in the ocean and he pushed me overboard to go for a swim...we've just encountered some sharks...but dont worry...he's throwing me a "donut"!!

We then moved on to reading Ellie nursery rhymes before her nap...Zay named on story "Duck, Duck, Ellie"!

Silly faces! :)

Day 17 - 40 Days of Blogging

Last Friday night, we had Jaymi & Erin over...and on Sunday we had Jill and Jennifer over with their families! That's 4 high school friends over to our house within 3 days! Amazing considering I just don't see that many high school friends that often! Lots of fun catching up with all these great ladies! :)

And then we were talking about back in our cheerleading days...we almost did a full extension...or basket toss...haha, maybe not! But it was funny to think back to those days when I was a flyer and they were the best 'bases' a girl could ask for! ;)

Day 16 - 40 Days of Blogging

Top 5 funnies from the last few days/weeks...these kids of mine, they sure do provide great content for Facebook posts and blog stories! Enjoy these!

1. Zay and I had a little prayer time this afternoon (after quite a meltdown and outburst involving his sister!) At the end he says..."Hey Mommy! Maybe you can pray to God and Jesus that they will help me become a weather man when I grow up too!" Okay...but let's work on not hitting your sister first!

2. Working out with kids is challenging...literally challenging! Thanks for the added intensity on the wall sit, Elle!

3. Not even joking...stuck in a car wash right now! Exit door wouldn't open, thankfully the girl behind me was the owner's son's girlfriend, so she said she would back up so I could exit from the entrance...totally didn't work and the door closed me in for another round of washing my car! Zay thinks this is great...Ellie on the other hand was terrified the first time around...now she is really scarred for life!#hopewemakeitoutalive #mycarisSUPERclean

4. "He's got the whole world in his hands" #playdoh #hewasntsupposedtomixthecolors

5. You mean to tell me that not everyone coordinates their outfits with their snacks?

Day 13 - 40 Days of Blogging

Yesterday we took a little trip to the Children's Museum! It seems like we make it there every so often, and Ellie is really to the age that she can really get into playing. However...this is spring break week so it was packed with kids!! So little missy pretty much stuck to me like glue...at least that made it easier to keep track of both kids! ;)

Zay's favorite area...the 'hospital/doctor's office". Do you think he's a little familiar with this type of thing? ;)

Ellie and I rode in the ambulance, while Zay drove us. He kept asking us where he should take us...THE HOSPITAL, Zay...the hospital! :)

Thought maybe she'd fall asleep after lunch, but she was too interested in all the other kids!

A picture with all the other moms and kids that we went with...we had a crew!

Remember how I mentioned Ellie was attached to my hip the whole time. The one time she wandered around a bit, she lost track of where I was. I was watching her as she kept looking up at people as if she were asking 'are you my mommy?" Then she spotted me and was SO HAPPY! :)

Day 5 - 40 Days of Blogging

Dinosaur Train

This last weekend we had the opportunity to take Zay to a Dinosaur Train performance at Gallager Bluedorn. I had a photo session earlier in the day, so since we were in town it worked out to go to this show with the Duncan family! And to be completely honest, Zay doesn't love this PBS show, but he REALLY enjoyed this live show! It helped that he has his little buddies with him!

Tiny, Shiny, and Buddy...and Mr. Conductor!

BIG dinosaur...I can't remember his name! ;)

Meeting Buddy and Tiny after the show!

And since Travis works at Gallager...he got us into the bounce house room - our three boys had the place all to themselves!

Silly, but happy little boys!

Our life...in black and white

There is something about black and white pictures. I love the simplicity.

It's been awhile since I've blogged with actual words...and really this blogpost won't be much different. I'm just loving pictures with short captions these days. It's pretty much my days lately. Isaiah has me going from one conversation to another and then throw in Elizabeth with her shrills and squeals...and both of them needing diaper/potty help. And then food...we hardly get breakfast over with and it's time for lunch...then dinner. Oh my...does my family really need to eat EVERY meal of the day? Ha! Anyway...thanks for hanging with this 'ol blog. Here is some fun pictures. Our life...in black and white!

Zay has quite a thing for sunglasses and hats these days...he wears them anytime and anywhere.

Ellie...each morning she starts off her day in the bouncer...watching Zay, waiting for mommy.

Zay...LOVES playing fetch with Bailey. He always lasts longer than she does and starts throwing her toys right at her to see if she will somehow get interested in the game again.

Example: Ellie watching Zay!

He's such a fun-loving, full-of-life kind of boy!

Do you notice some baby toys? Our living room is usually cluttered with these walker, bouncers, playmats...I love it...it means we have a baby girl around here!

Love this expression of both of them catching Bailey out of the corner of their eye!

What's that? You don't climb under stools? We do.

My little laundry man. (He seems to make more laundry than help DO the laundry!)

"HEY MOM...!"

Where she can be found when Zay is awake...at his feet.

See...told ya.

Elle-Belle...how cute can you get?

She is HAPPY when she wakes up from a great nap. Me too.

The End. This was fun...maybe I'll have to do a few more posts on "our life...in black and white"!

Mommy & Zay Date!

The other day grandma Judy was in town, and she's always so willing to babysit if I need to run an errand or whatnot. I really appreciate having an extra hand every once in awhile and I decided that it would be fun for Zay and I to have a little date! So much fun to have a chance to fully focus on my little man for an entire morning! He's growing and changing so fast these days...so proud of all the things he is learning!

The perfect {little} man...

I don't mean to brag, but Zay's future wife will be thanking me someday. ;) My little man is on his way to making a girl very happy someday...Check out his mad mopping skills...

And he gets to work even before he's dressed for the day!

AND he cooks...in his under-roos... ;) (Kudos to Daddy for finding an amazing $10 deal on this play kitchen!)

He's a very good chef...raisins, carrots and pretzels are his specialty. Usually mixed up with a little bit of pretend water and microwaved until the *ding* goes off. We get very excited when the *ding* happens!

And besides his cleaning and cooking skills.....his future wife will be happy to know he is nearly potty trained! We've got the pee-pee thing figured out, now we are just working on the poo-poo. (Mommy is struggling knowing how to convince the little guy that it's ok to go #2 on the potty!!!)

Regardless, I think this little guy is going to be quite the charmer! He aims to please!
