My new friends...

Zay had his first playdate with the Duncan twins Friday night. We had some of our small group over for dinner and the Duncan's brought Leyton and Riley over to our house for the first time! Can you believe how little these boys are? It's hard to believe they are only 6 months younger than Zay! When Leyton and Riley were born, both of them put together didn't weigh as much as Zay at birth! Just little guys! I can't wait to watch these boys grow up together!

Leyton, Riley and Zay...they are identical twins...so I'm not sure who is who! :)

Zay pretty much thought we were handing him a new toy when the twins were next to him...obviously Leyton/Riley wasn't thrilled and wanted dad back! :)

Finally....6 month pictures!!

Finally getting Zay's 6 month pictures up! I had a little trouble with my computer handling such high quality images, so I had to compress them...hopefully they aren't blurry or anything! Anyway here is a picture overload, because I can't just pick a few! And there are so many more good ones too! Thanks again, Bailey for taking these! I LOVE THEM!! :)

More 7 Month Old Stuff

Zay is 7 months old!! I'm a little late getting this posted, because life is quite busy for us these days!

Trying to get monthly pictures of our little man is really getting to be a challenge...

Things are going very well with Zay. He's eating more baby food, so we are learning how to calculate all the phe in his food. His favorite is definitely pears and squash! We have lots more to try, so we will see what other favorites he has!

Zay isn't crawling yet...but we keep thinking that he is soooo close! Definitely scoots and gets himself all turned around. And reaches as far as he can while he's sitting. However, his FAVORITE thing to do is stand up next to things. Definitely not sturdy all the time on his feet, but he loves the view from standing up!

Zay is also exploring his vocabulary. Shane and I both think we've heard things come out of Zay's mouth that sound like "hi" and "mom". The rest of the things that he "talks" about are high pitch screams and lots of jibber jabber. VERY CUTE!

One thing that has changed with Zay - breathing treatments. We are back on 2 breathing treatments. After his 6 month appointment we tried cutting out one of the treatments and Zay's breathing regressed back to the point we had to do a few days of breathing treatments every 4 hours. Soooo...hopefully we get something more figured out with what is going on with this breathing stuff...allergies or asthma are still the top predictors.

We've been enjoying the summer with Zay so much. It's so hard to believe that he's been here for 7 months already...but at the same time it feels like he's always been here! Remembering life before Zay is nearly impossible. (We can only dream of the sleep we used to get..ha!) Can't wait to continue spending lots of days with our little man! We love him so much!!!!!

7 Months Old

Pool Time!

A week or so ago Shane got busy re-roofing our garage, so Isaiah and I spent a couple days hanging out in the backyard. It was the perfect opportunity to let Zay try out his pool! And mommy learned a lesson...there is a reason why they may swim diapers! We even had some at home, I just chose not to go get them and threw Zay in the pool with a regular diaper - big mistake! Those things are amazingly absorbent! :)

And our all time favorite part of the days outside...ok, mom's all time favorite part - NAPS! It just doesn't get much better than naps in the shade! :)
